Arniko Yadav and Aashik Baitha guide Madhesh past Karnali

Madhesh Province secured a five-wicket win over Karnali Province in Match 19 after Aashik Baitha's four-wicket spell and Arniko Yadav's unbeaten knock carried them past a modest target of 130.

Karnali were bowled out for 129 in 31.2 overs after slipping from 65 for 4 to 129 all out. Rabindra Shahi top-scored with 40 off 51 balls, while Arjun Gharti made 24 and Bipin Rawal added 18. But no batter was able to turn a start into a match-shaping innings as Madhesh chipped away steadily.

Baitha was the standout bowler with 4 for 34 in 10 overs, while Bishal Patel claimed 2 for 26 and Arniko Yadav took 2 for 0 in a sharp spell late in the innings. Pradip Paswan also picked up a wicket as Karnali's lower order folded without adding much resistance.

In reply, Madhesh made a brisk start through Mayan Yadav, who hit 24 off 22, but they still had to absorb a few setbacks. Niraj Yadav top-scored with 38 off 59 balls, and Pawan Sarraf contributed 17 before Karnali briefly pulled the game back with regular wickets.

Arniko Yadav then ensured there would be no collapse, finishing unbeaten on 32 off 25 balls with six fours. He was supported by Rupesh Singh, who remained not out on 4, as Madhesh reached 131 for 5 in 24.5 overs.

Dipendra Rawat was Karnali's best bowler with 3 for 40, but Madhesh's stronger all-round display was enough to complete the chase and collect two valuable points.
