Chitwan Rhinos reveal retained players for NPL season 2; Vesawkar released

Chitwan Rhinos have announced the list of retained players for the upcoming season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Leading the charge for the Rhinos will be captain and marquee player, Kushal Malla, who has been retained for season 2. Alongside Malla, the Rhinos have decided to retain some of their key performers from last season. Rijan Dhakal, Deepak Dumre, Amar Singh Routela, and Gautam KC will all stay with the team, bringing their experience and skills into the next season. Additionally, Kamal Singh Airee, who missed the previous season due to injury, has also been retained.

On the other hand, the Rhinos have made some tough calls in releasing a few players. Sharad Vesawakar, a seasoned campaigner, along with Bipin Rawal, Santosh Karki, Dipesh Shrestha, and Ranjit Kumar, have been let go ahead of season 2.

Chitwan Rhinos had a strong run in the first season, making it to the playoffs before bowing out in the eliminator match to Karnali Yaks.
