Nepal completes 100 T20I matches

Nepal has reached a significant milestone by completing 100 matches in their T20I history. The landmark game came against the Netherlands during a Tri-Series in Scotland.

Fittingly, the 100th match turned out to be one of the most dramatic encounters in T20I cricket history. For the first time ever, a T20I match was decided after three Super Overs, adding a historic twist to Nepal’s special occasion.

Nepal's journey in T20 internationals began in 2014 when the team played its first match against Hong Kong during the ICC T20 World Cup. Since then, Nepal has made significant progress, winning several bilateral series, achieving historic milestones, and making a memorable return to the T20 World Cup after a decade in 2024.

After completing 100 T20I matches, Nepal's record stands at 55 wins, 39 losses, three ties, and three no results.

Among the notable records, Nepal posted their highest T20I total of 314 runs against Mongolia, which is also the second-highest team total in T20I history. On the flip side, their lowest total came against Ireland, where they were bowled out for just 53 runs in 2015.
