The Nepalese team are off to a flying start in the Hong Kong Super Sixes. They thrashed England by six wickets in the first match.
Nepal, opting to bowl first, restricted England to 97/6 in 5.5 overs. Pratish GC set the tone with a nine-run first over, picking up a wicket. However, Rashid Khan conceded 21 runs, and Narayan Joshi gave away 30, leaving England at 60/2 after three overs. Joshi was hit for five consecutive sixes by Ravi Bopara but managed to dismiss him on the final ball.
Lokesh Bam also bowled well and got a wicket before Pratish GC came and pocketed another wicket.
In reply, Nepal chased down the target in just 4.4 overs without losing a wicket. Sundeep Jora delivered a stunning performance, reaching an unbeaten half-century off just 12 balls. Rashid Khan also hammered a quick 21 runs from five balls while Lokesh Bam made 20* runs.
Nepal, England and Australia are in Group B of the 12-team tournament. Nepal will play against Australia on November 2.
