An unbeaten century from captain Paras Khadka powered Nepal to a commanding nine-wicket victory over hosts Singapore in the 2019 Singapore Tri-Nation T20I Series at the Indian Association Ground, Singapore, on September 28, 2019.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Singapore built a competitive platform through opener Surendran Chandramohan, who provided early momentum before falling for 35 off 26 balls. The innings was then anchored by skipper Tim David, who struck an unbeaten 64 off 44 deliveries, including multiple big hits at the death, to lift Singapore to 151/3 in 20 overs.
For Nepal, pacer Karan KC was the standout with 2/34, while left-arm spinner Sushan Bhari, playing his T20I debut, claimed 1/27 to keep Singapore from accelerating further. Nepal's star leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane went wicketless but remained exceptionally tight, conceding just 18 runs in his four overs.

In reply, Nepal suffered an early setback when opener Ishan Pandey was dismissed cheaply, leaving the visitors 9/1. However, Khadka quickly took control of the chase with a brutal counterattack, bringing up his fifty in rapid time before converting it into a historic three-figure score. The Nepal captain smashed an unbeaten 106 off 52 balls, striking seven fours and nine sixes, as Nepal surged to 154/1 in just 16 overs, sealing the win with four overs to spare.
Khadka found excellent support from Aarif Sheikh, who stayed firm at the other end with 39 off 38 balls*, as the pair stitched an unbroken 145-run partnership that completely shut Singapore out of the contest. With this knock, Khadka became the first Nepalese batter to score a T20I century, and his landmark innings also meant Nepal became the 26th nation to produce a T20I centurion.
