New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham will return to Janakpur Bolts for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Neesham played an important role in Janakpur's title-winning campaign during the inaugural NPL season in 2024. He scored 247 runs and claimed seven wickets across nine matches.
The left-handed batter was one of the tournament's most destructive players, recording a strike rate of 175.17. His performances helped Janakpur defeat Sudurpaschim Royals in the final to become the first NPL champions.
Neesham joined Pokhara Avengers for the second season in 2025. He played four matches for Pokhara, scoring 99 runs at a strike rate of 162.30 and taking five wickets.
The 35-year-old will now reunite with the Bolts after one season away, adding international experience, middle-order power and another seam-bowling option to their squad.
Neesham's return provides Janakpur with a proven performer who is already familiar with the franchise and the conditions in Nepal.
The Bolts will hope his all-round ability can help them mount another strong challenge in NPL Season 3.
