Khadak Bohora's explosive half-century powered Sudurpaschim Province to a seven-wicket win over Koshi Province in Match 14 of the Men's PM Cup after a disciplined bowling effort restricted Koshi to 130.
Koshi were bowled out for 130 in 43.4 overs after never quite finding momentum. Suman Shrestha top-scored with 24 off 89 balls, while Shivash Baigain made 25 and Dipesh Kandel added 20. But regular wickets and a slow scoring rate left Koshi well short of a competitive total.
Sudurpaschim's attack kept the pressure on throughout the innings. Hemant Dhami was the standout bowler with 4 for 26, while Kiran Thagunna picked up 2 for 3 in a sharp late spell. Narayan Joshi and Saurya Shrestha also chipped in with a wicket each as Koshi's innings faded after reaching 115 for 6.
In reply, Sudurpaschim wasted little time in putting the chase beyond doubt. Khadak Bohora counterattacked brilliantly, scoring 66 off just 45 balls with nine fours and three sixes. He shared a key third-wicket stand with Kiran Thagunna, who remained unbeaten on 25, as Sudurpaschim surged past 100 inside 16 overs.
Although they lost three wickets in the chase, Sudurpaschim were always in control and reached 131 for 3 in just 19.5 overs. Lokendra Chand finished unbeaten on 6 as the target was wrapped up comfortably.
