David Andrew Warner is a former Australian international cricketer renowned for his aggressive left-handed batting at the top of the order. He represented Australia in all three formats between 2009 and 2024 and also captained the national team in ODIs and T20Is.

Warner was part of Australia’s title-winning teams at the 2015 and 2023 ODI World Cups, the 2021 T20 World Cup and the 2023 ICC World Test Championship. He was named Player of the Tournament at the 2021 T20 World Cup.

A prominent franchise cricketer, Warner has competed in tournaments including the Big Bash League, Indian Premier League, Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League, Global T20 Canada and International League T20. He captained Sunrisers Hyderabad to their maiden IPL title in 2016.

On September 16, 2026, Kathmandu Gorkhas announced Warner’s signing for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League. The signing made him one of the most prominent overseas players to join a Nepali domestic cricket competition.
