Ross Taylor is one of New Zealand's most accomplished and respected cricketers, known for his consistency, composure, and match-winning ability. Born on March 8, 1984, in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, Taylor has Samoan heritage through his mother and has always taken pride in his Pacific Island roots.

He made his international debut for New Zealand in 2006 and went on to play 112 Tests, 236 ODIs, and 102 T20Is before retiring in 2022.
