Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal A posted 173/7 in 20 overs. Sandeep Jora top-scored with 35 off 23 balls, while Dev Khanal (31 off 35) and Pawan Saroff (31 off 23) provided valuable contributions.
Assam's bowling was led by Akash Sengupta (3/25), with Avinav Choudhury (2/34), Ayushman Malakar (1/29) and Abhilash Gogoi (1/36) also among the wickets.
In reply, Assam's batting crumbled under pressure and they were bundled out for just 77 in 15.2 overs. Only Ruhinandan Pegu (17 off 24), Sibsankar Roy (16 off 17), and Mrinmoy Dutta (15 off 8) reached double figures.
Nepal's bowling attack was ruthless, with Yubraj Khatri starring with 4/15 and Basir Ahmed chipping in with 3/26 to dismantle the Assam batting order.
